NDAA compliance means your organization does not use, purchase, or maintain banned telecommunications or surveillance equipment covered by Section 889.

The NDAA specifically prohibits:

✅ Procuring equipment for federal contracts.
✅ Use of Federal Funds on banned hardware
✅ Entering into contracts with companies that use banned equipment.

Banned manufacturers include certain well-known companies identified as security risks. Using their equipment even unintentionally can lead to disqualification from government contracts or the need for costly replacements.
